Course Description
This is an English Class, and I hope it's unlike any other you've ever had. We will be learning about events and people that push and continue to push the envelope of our culture in America and changed the world as we know it from our early history to Present Day.
The purpose of this class is to prepare each and every student with the tools and abilities needed to communicate within the context of the American Culture as well as the Global Community in all of its forms outside of the classroom.
My personal goal for the course is to make it easy for my students to express themselves and how they feel about the world around them. This world is beautifully complicated and very nuanced. I hope after taking my course, my students feel better about where they fit in in the world and how they can best make a contribution to making it a better place.
