Hi! My name is Katrina and I love Bowman's students. This is my third full year teaching, which I view as a benefit because I'm able to employ the newest research-based strategies/technology to improve learning. Math is one of my passions, and being able to share that with my students is incredibly rewarding. My favorite moments are when students fill with hope as they understand concepts for the very first time. I am striving to be a math teacher that offers hope, instills excitement for continued learning, and empowers students with the belief that they can succeed. At Bowman, we foster a "You Matter" mindset and culture, where every individual can overcome and contribute. My goal is that they would use the social, academic, and problem-solving skills acquired in my classroom to become influential members in their communities.
