Welcome to Mark's Classes

I teach Modern Civilization and Economics classes here at Bowman.

In the Modern Civilization class (World History), we cover a panorama of world history that includes the richness and diversity of our past. Students will examine multiple aspects of our world, develop an understanding of cultural diversity, and understand the civic principles of modern civilization.

In the Economics class, we cover fundamental economic concepts and apply the tools from other subject areas to the understanding of economic systems. Students will learn about the economic principles of entrepreneurship, international economics, comparative economic systems, economic measurement, and economic methods.
