During Spring Break, work permits will be issued at the District Office by appointment only. Following are the steps to secure a work permit.
STEP 1: Secure Employment
Students need to secure a job before obtaining a work permit.
STEP 2: Download the Work Permit Application
Click on the following link to download: STATEMENT OF INTENT TO EMPLOY A MINOR AND REQUEST FOR A WORK PERMIT – CERTIFICATE OF AGE
STEP 3: Complete the Work Permit Application:
Students are to complete the sections “Minor’s Information” and “School Information.”
Employers are to complete the section “For Employer to Complete” and then print and sign their name.
Parents/guardians are required to sign the form for knowledge and consent.
STEP 4: During Spring Break work permits are issued at the District Office - 21380 Centre Pointe Parkway, Santa Clarita, CA 91350. The permits will be issued by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, send an email to [email protected]. Appointments will be offered every 15 minutes during the following dates:
Monday, April 3, 2023 - 9 am - 12 pm
Wednesday, April 5th - 9 am - 12 pm
Thursday, April 6th - 1 pm - 4 pm
