Karem Lopez

Hi everyone! I'm Karem Lopez, your English 9, English 10, and English 12 teacher for 2025-2026. This is my first year at Bowman, and I'm super excited to get to know all of you. I've previously taught both high school and middle school English in nearby Ventura County where I grew up. I attended UC Santa Barbara for my undergraduate studies, where I majored in English and minored in Educational Studies. Additionally, I earned my Single Subject Teaching Credential from CSU Channel Islands. I speak both English and Spanish fluently!
