students have the opportunity this year to pursue the California State Seal of Civic Engagement (SSCE). This recognition not only celebrates students’ civic knowledge and leadership, but also highlights their ability to positively impact their communities.

To support our students’ success, Ami will be our on-site advisor to clarify the process for staff and stakeholders who may be interested in guiding or encouraging participation. One key component is the civic project, which requires thoughtful planning and a significant time commitment. Because of this, it is important that students begin considering ideas and taking steps toward their project sooner rather than later.

This Wellness Support Group is offered to any student in the Hart District. It’s function is to support students and provide an opportunity for students to share feelings, coping strategies and/or personal experiences in a caring, virtual setting. We understand that some students may be having a difficult time managing their socio-emotional wellbeing and may need an additional supportive outlet that is offered virtually so that they do not feel like they are missing out on their educational instruction. This group is voluntary for any Hart District student to attend.
